Friday 31 July 1992 Thai Airways A310-304 HS-TID c/n 438
ISP Flight 311 from Bangkok (BKK) to Kathmandu (KTM) with 14 crew and 99 passengers. Steep approach to Kathmandu apt. RW 02 in instrument weather conditions. There was a flap fault and the crew made a go around for a new approach, but the aircraft got of track and impacted mountains.
First flight : 1987 engines : CF6-80C2A2. All people on board died in the crash and injured. location : 40km N off Kathmandu apt +- 2 km 28°0319N 85°2650E
Wednesday 23 March 1994 Aeroflot A310-304 F-OGQS c/n 596
Flight from Moskva (SVO) to Hong Kong (HKG) with 12 crew and 63 passengers. The daughter and son of the captain entered the cockpit when the aircraft was cruising at night. The captain demonstrated some manoeuvres. The son was seated in the front left seat and was allowed to turn the steering wheel. The manoeuvres conflicted with the autopilot setting, the aircraft stalled and entered a spin. Control could not be regained and the aircraft crashed. First flight : 1991

All people on board died in the crash. location : The accident occurred near Mezhduretshensk, Russia in the foothills of the Kuznetskii Ala-Tau, on the north-east slope of a 600 m hill with mixed forest cover and a 1.5 m layer of snow. +- 300m : 53°30'05N 88°15'50E .
Friday 31 March 1995 Tarom A310-324 YR-LCC c/n 450ISP Flight RO371 from Bucharest Otopeni apt (OTP) to Brussels (BRU) with 11 crew and 49 passengers, most of them from Belgium. After take off from RW 08R in heavy snow fall one engine lost power and the captain was incapacitated for unclear reason. The co-pilot was unable to correct the situation, being disoriented and lost control. The aircraft crashed in a field at high speed and exploded with the tanks full with fuel. First flight : 1987. Sunday 30 January 2000 Kenya Airways A310-304 5Y-BEN c/n 426
ISP Flight KQ431 from Abidjan (ABJ), Cote dIvoire to Lagos (LOS), Nigeria with 10 crew and 169 passengers. Take-off from RW21. Shortly after take-off, there was a stall warning, the co-pilot levelled the aircraft but did not increase power. In the night the flight crew did not recognize they were descending, the GPWS signal was masked by stall and overspeed warnings. The aircraft impacted the sea and broke up. The wreckage came to rest on the sandy seabed at 40-50m depth. First flight : 1986

DSP Flight SBI778 from Moskva (DME) to Irkutsk (IKT) with 8 crew and 195 passengers. Approaching Irkutsk RW30 at night in poor weather, with low clouds and rain. The left thrust-reverser was defect, what the flight crew was aware of. The aircraft touched down at 132 kts, 200-300 from the threshold. Incorrect use of the thrust levers at roll out with one thrust reverser not working led to asymmetric thrust and the airplane left the runway at 98 kts, hit a concrete fence and buildings and broke up in flames. Tuesday 10 June 2008 Sudan Airways A310-324 ST-ATN c/n 548
ISP Flight SD109 from Damascus (DAM) to Khartoum (KRT) with 11 crew and 203 passengers. Overshoot on landing on 3000m long RW36 in poor weather with a 15 kt tailwind with one thrust reverser inoperative. The aircraft touched down on the wet runway 900m from the threshold, came to a hold 215m past the runway, caught fire and burned out. Tuesday 30 June 2009 Yemenia Airways A310-324 7O-ADJ c/n 535
IP Flight IY626 from Sanaa (SAH), Yemen to Moroni (HAH), with 11 crew and 142 passengers. Approach to Moroni RW20. Descent was very fast at 2000 ft/min. Approach was abandoned; in the go around control was lost and the aircraft stalled and then crashed into the sea. First flight : 1990 Airframe hrs : 53587 cycles : 18129 engines : PW4152. 152 people died in the crash, only one young girl aged 12 survived.
